Bodog Poker Review
The Mac OS client for Bodog Poker is available via instant Flash play on the Bodog website. Registering for a new
account is as easy as filling out a form and getting your instant login ID, from their you can be on the tables and playing in seconds. The lobby provides options to play both play money and real money games.
The software is very nicely designed and will appeal to Mac users. The layout of the table is unique and more intuitive than many other poker rooms with helpful icons and animation to make you feel instantly
comfortable at the tables. The game screen can be resized to your liking by simply expanding the browser window, which is nice since some of the game details can be a little small. You also have the option of
customizing your avatar by uploading a unique image providing a nice customization feature.
Unfortunately, the Flash version of the poker software is lacking in a few keys features that are found in the downloadable version of the software. First, you only have the option of playing in cash games,
so if you are looking for sit-n-gos or multi-table tournaments you are out of luck as a Mac user. The software is also limited to single table play, and doesn't include the nice multi table playing interface
that the PC version of the software features. Lastly, you are limited to the standard Bodog table colors where the downloadable software allows some look-and-feel customization -- not a huge issue, but if you
prefer to customize your playing environment, you are out of luck on Bodog.

The Bottom Line
Bodog's instant Flash play poker room is a solid option for Mac players interested in playing cash games, but the full features and game playing options are not yet available to Mac users.
