Carbon Poker Review
The Mac OS client for Carbon Poker is available via download from the  Carbon Poker website. Downloading and installing the program was a snap and the software starts up very quickly.
Registering a new account is fairly easy, although the submission form is a little tricky when it comes to entering special characters, however, after a couple of tries, the registration form submits and a confirmation email
is off to you, arriving in seconds so you can start playing.
The software is well designed with an easy-to-use interface. The fold, bet and raise buttons are very clear and easy to use. As for customization options, you can upload your own avatar, and design the table to your
liking with several options for the table design, felt color, carpet design and more. One of the best options is the ability to expand the screen to any size you want, in fact the graphics render perfectly, even at
at full screen.
Game play is smooth and easy to follow. While some poker sites move too fast and others move slowly, Carbon seems to strike a good balance for the pace of the game.
There are several game types and entry amounts to choose from including ring games, single table SNGs and larger tournaments. There are also Omaha, Stud and Draw games available to play, basically everything that
is available to a player on a PC is also available to a player on a Mac. As a Mac player, you even have the option of playing side blackjack games.

The Bottom Line
Carbon Poker's Mac software offers the same game play as the PC version, as well as all of the same customization. The game plays at a nice pace and the screen layout is simple and easy to use.
